Davi Designs came to us to assist them in the launch of a completely new line of luxury handbags. We were engaged to develop the brand from scratch geared towards the mid level market in terms of cost ($1200 per bag). Once our discovery process and due diligence was complete, we decided on a more classic approach. From typography to icon development, the mark you see here nailed exactly what we were hoping to achieve.
The client had a vision of a unique handbag with a twist (sorry, we can’t say anymore under NDA) but wanted to ensure we could capture a more mature audience in order to position the product. How do you do this? One sure way is to see who has done it and done it well before you. If I were to ask you one luxury, female oriented company that exudes class and timeless beauty what would you say? Chanel… We found this brand exceptional and certainly something could be learned from their success. We took a similar approach from a design standpoint and created this beautiful mark.
Obviously, Davi will not be competing with Chanel, but positioned to a similar audience? You betcha. More updates as the engagement continues.
